September 2024 Content Roundup [Video 7:22]

Welcome to the first monthly content update and schedule for Van Marciano Pro. Each month I’ll bring you a post packed with information on what you can expect in terms of new content i.e. tutorials, course topics, videos, templates, resources and a bunch of awesome stuff here at Van Marciano Pro.

Since we’re well and truly into September, it’s back to business as usual after a nice long break. To all our new members, welcome and thank you for joining Van Marciano Pro, I have some very exciting stuff lined up for you all.

I’ll start with what I’ve already added to the site late last month and also earlier this month, and then list what you can expect to come in the next few weeks of September. But, before I dive in, I have some updates regarding my upcoming Bricks Builder 2.0 Course Module (Holiday Villa Booking Website Project)

After some thought, I’ve decided to delay this module until early 2025 and I’ll explain why in just a second. Instead I will move forward with the eCommerce Project which is actually going to be a live website build using Bricks and WooCommerce!

The reason for this delay is that I want to wait until Bricks 2.0 (Beta phase) is rolled out. And then focus on building the project sections, topics, and videos quickly.

I know this is a pain in the rear end, but I was really hoping Bricks 2.0 would have been released in the fall (Autumn) of 2024 but that is not going to be the case, and that’s perfectly fine. Good things come to those who wait, right?

In the meantime, look forward to the Bricks Live Builder (WooCommerce Project) which I will begin rolling out later this month.

Website features

1. Re-designed members mega menu

The members menu has been redesigned to make use of a mega-menu. You’ll find access to all areas of your membership in one place in the new menu. The member’s menu is only visible to members that are logged in to the site.

2. Re-designed members dashboard

The members dashboard has also been redesigned with the tabs to each area of your account now located on the left side of the page. This is still a work in progress, I will update the welcome video shortly.

3. Media Kits

I now have media kits and resources page for each of the course modules available on Van Marciano Pro. This will make is much easier for members taking the Bricks or Oxygen Courses to access downloadable media such as project images, code snippets, etc.

Tools Page

You’ve been asking for it, so here it is. A full blown page listing every single tool, application, technology, and resource that I’ve used over the past 14 years as a freelance web designer and digital content creator. Check it out here. I’ll be adding more throughout the last quarter of 2024.

Updated Roadmap

The content roadmap has been fully updated with our new plans for content and features rollout for Van Marciano Pro.

1. Using global utility classes video (Update)

I’ve updated this tutorial to include a demonstration video on how to use the global utility classes in your Bricks Builder projects. Check it out here.

2. Updated Utility Classes + Custom Variables

The utility classes, CSS, and custom variable pages have been updated to make them more easier to use in your Bricks or Oxygen projects. Check them out here.

3. Bricks Builder + WordPress Pro Web Design Blueprint Course

This is a big one. I’ve added a 1-hour long video to teach you how to create a Bricks and WordPress website design blueprint. This will save you time and money and let you dive straight into a projects in no time. Check it out here.

4. Basic Guide to Using Scroll-Snap

We’ve added a quick five-minute video tutorial demonstrating the cool scroll-snapping feature in Bricks Builder. Check out the tutorial here.

5. Customer Dashboard Design using Oxygen Builder + SureMembers

If you are using Oxygen + SureCart or SureMembers to build your eCommerce site, in this video, I’l share with you step-by-step how you can create a sleek customer dashboard experience. Although we use Oxygen in this video, we can also do this in Bricks. Releasing 15th September.

6. Podcast: The Future of WordPress and Page Builders! (Spoiler Alert: It’s A Good One)

A short podcast episode where I share my thoughts and insights into the future of WordPress and Page Builders and why I think the future looks bright. Releasing on 12th September.
