8 Essential WordPress Plugins for Oxygen Builder 6 Projects [Infographic]

Hey there, welcome back to another useful tips post here on Van Marciano Pro. So, whenever I start a new WordPress project with Oxygen Builder, there are a handful of plugins that almost always make their way into my blueprint setup.
These aren’t plugins I install simply for the sake of having more features, no sir! They each serve a specific purpose in my workflow and help me build websites that are easier to manage, scale and maintain. That’s pretty important to me.
My goal with any blueprint is to create a solid starting point. I want the tools for writing and managing custom code, building a consistent design system, organizing media, handling SEO and analytics, creating forms, and working with dynamic content already in place.
That means less time repeating the same setup process and more time actually designing and building… oh, and that actually makes my process a lot more fun too.
OK let’s jump into the infographic first, and then below, we’ll go through a list of the actual plugins and I’ll explain why I have them on this list.

For 2026, my essential stack includes –
WPCodeBox – For managing all of my code snippets. Check out my WPCodeBox starter guide here.
Core Framework – An essential plugin, and the best, for creating custom CSS frameworks without having to touch a single line of code. I like to use Core Framework to visually create and experiment with styles, then copy the generated CSS output into my own custom framework. It’s a great way to speed up the process while still keeping full control over my CSS. More over, Core Framework is free!
FileBird Lite – One of the best plugins for organizing WordPress media. I like to have my images, logos, icons, background graphics, SGVs, and PDFs all organized in folders.
Rank Math SEO – A rock-solid SEO plugin. It can feel a little bulky at times, with plenty of features and options you’ll probably never use, but it’s still a fantastic all-round SEO solution for WordPress.
AnalyticsWP – A powerful analytics plugin that brings all of my important website data directly into the WordPress dashboard. Quick to set up, easy to use, and perfect for keeping an eye on my site’s performance.
Fluent Forms – Simply one of the best form builder plugins for WordPress. What else is there to say? Oxygen does have its own powerful native form builder, but for me, the features, flexibility, and ease of use you get with Fluent Forms are hard to beat.
WPGridBuilder – A powerful plugin that helps you build custom post grids and dynamic content layouts with absolute ease!
Meta Box Lite – Probably one of the easiest plugins to use for creating custom post types and custom fields in WordPress. There are plenty of alternatives out there, of course, but for me, Meta Box ticks all the boxes.
Together, these give me a lightweight but incredibly capable foundation for everything from relatively simple business websites to more advanced dynamic WordPress projects.
Of course, every website is different, right? And I don’t believe in installing plugins just because they’re on a checklist.
However, these are tools I’ve found genuinely useful in my own workflow, and they’re the ones I consider first whenever I’m putting together a fresh Oxygen Builder 6 blueprint website.
So, be sure to check a few of these plugins out. And if you’re already using any of them, I’d love to know how you’ve been getting on with them. Maybe you’ve found an alternative that works even better for your workflow—if so, let me know what you’re using!
